Thirty South Fifth's design is "L" shaped.  The "L" wraps around a backyard courtyard and patio area that can be viewed from the 2nd floor balcony above.  Each room is of adequate size with some being larger than others.  Please note the many windows that add a nice bright and airy feel to complement the tall ceilings.

The First Floor:

One enters the house from fifth street into an entry foyer with a hardwood staircase to the immediate left, a formal living room to the right that is framed by hardwood trim and large columns.  Proceeding towards the rear of the house through double french doors with glass panes one enters the dining room.  Continuing back, one passes the staircase to the basement and then enters the large eat-in kitchen with half bathroom.  There is a back staircase up from the kitchen to the second floor back bedrooms.  The windows in the living room, dining room, and kitchen all face the courtyard / patio area in the backyard.

The Second Floor:

On rising from the first floor foyer via the front staircase one enters a hallway leading to the front two bedrooms.  The master bedroom is largest and has windows facing the fifth street and the courtyard.  Bedroom two faces fifth street and includes a staircase to the attic storage space.  Continuing toward the rear of the house one passes through a sitting room or office as well as a bathroom and kitchen staircase on the left.  The third bedroom includes the hallway to the fourth bedroom so it is only semi-private.  The fourth bedroom is the quietest and rearmost bedroom of the four.  The main bathroom is equipped with an enclosed stand up shower.  The balcony runs the length of the back of the house and is an ideal spot for reading a book or studying on a warm afternoon.
